Our Story

Splash Sally is a father and son venture Founded by Rob and Steve, based in Margaret River, Western Australia.

Rob began his entrepreneurial journey early, launching several businesses over the years. After moving to Australia in the late 1990s, one of his first business ventures in Aus was importing block-printed fabrics from Africa. Following a successful career away from fabrics and fashion, he eventually retired in 2023, though his sense of style never did. Rob proudly wore Crocs for years, way before they were cool/socially acceptable, proving he’s always been a trendsetter at heart.

Steve is a photographer and videographer, best known for his video work in the wedding industry, but his creative eye extends well beyond that. Over the years, he’s also worked on editorial and fashion shoots, which sparked an interest in starting his own brand. He and Rob decided to channel their combined experience into a new venture, and Splash Sally was born.

For our Kerala range, we import our fabrics directly from skilled artisans in India, crafted using traditional block printing techniques. We care deeply about how our products are made, and it’s important to us that the people who make our products are treated fairly, and the process respects both craft and the planet. We’re proud to support this centuries-old craft and its incredible makers, and we deeply value the time, artistry, and dedication behind every handmade piece.
